Loose figure, molded face, Made in Taiwan

< PREV NEXT>

This is the loose vintage Luke Jedi figure produced by Kenner in 1983. This is believed to be the first release of the figure. The specific variation is the 'molded head' version which differs from the other releases as the head is molded in flesh color and the hair is painted on. All other releases are molded in the hair color and the face painted on. The figure has been only found on ROTJ 65-A back cards made in Taiwan.

The cape is assumed to be a snap cape as this is believed to be the first version of the cape, and a visual confirmation of at least two molded head variants carded with a snap cape are known, one can be seen here.

The figure is only known to have come with a green lightsaber and gray gun based on the numerous carded examples found. This confirms that the blue lightsaber was only produced by the Hong Kong factory.
